As a generalist, you'll possess a broad range of skills, including:

  1. Performance Marketing/Paid Ads: Good understanding of creatives, funnels, CPA/CTR metrics, campaign setup, and optimisation.
  2. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Knowledge of CRO principles and techniques to improve website and landing page conversions.
  3. Branding & Positioning: You appreciate the importance of consistent brand messaging across all channels.
  4. Social Media Marketing: You're well-versed in various social media platforms and the strategies that drive success.
  5. On-Page Marketing: Optimising user flows, analysing user behaviour optimisation, and enhancing funnels come naturally to you.
  6. Search Engine Optimization & Content Marketing: You have a firm grasp of SEO and content strategies and can use them effectively in your marketing efforts.
  7. Affiliate Marketing: You understand the complexities and nuances of affiliate marketing.
  8. Data Analytics: Proficiency in data analysis tools and the ability to draw insights from marketing data to inform decision-making.
  9. Email Marketing: Experience crafting and executing effective email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation and A/B testing.
  10. Marketing Automation: Familiarity with marketing automation platforms to streamline and optimise marketing processes.

๐Ÿ“ˆ What Your First Months Will Look Like:

  1. To map the competition landscape through SWOT analysis.

    3. Regularly monitor the competitive landscape to ensure the company remains agile, adapts strategies to evolving market dynamics, and maintains a strong position in the marketplace.
  2. To define the brand and marketing positioning.
    1. Define the brand and marketing positioning by identifying the target audience and understanding their needs and preferences.
    2. Creating a brand that resonates with the companyโ€™s vision and differentiates it from competitors in the market.
    3. Conduct market research, analyse customer behaviour and preferences, and understand the competitors' strengths and weaknesses.
    4. Develop a unique value proposition, create targeted advertising campaigns, and leverage social media and other digital marketing channels to reach the targeted audience.
  3. To analyse the website, the product is aligned with the Marketing strategy.
    1. Conduct a comprehensive website audit and evaluate website design, user experience, content quality, and functionality to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
    2. Work closely with the development team to implement necessary changes and enhancements to align the website with the overarching marketing objectives.
  4. To craft a psychologically-driven go-to-market strategy.
    1. Conducting in-depth consumer behaviour research to understand the target audience's underlying motivations, needs, and pain points.
    2. Utilising psychological principles and insights to develop a data-driven, emotionally resonant go-to-market strategy that speaks to the aspirations and desires of the target market.
    3. Collaborating with the development team to integrate psychological triggers and persuasive messaging into various marketing touchpoints and campaigns can help achieve the desired outcome.
  5. Continued Analysis and Iteration:ย 
    1. Continuously monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats.
    2. Conduct regular performance reviews and post-mortems to evaluate the success of marketing initiatives and identify areas for refinement and improvement.
    3. Refining brand positioning and marketing messaging based on data-driven insights to stay ahead of the competition and align with the companyโ€™s vision.
